In combination with the SPECTRALIS® OCT Angiography (OCTA) Module, the 125 kHz scan speed delivers improved OCTA workflow, shortening high-resolution image acquisition by up to 30%. With a speed-quality ratio optimized for OCTA, 125 kHz helps you visualize blood flow in fine capillaries while avoiding artefacts due to natural eye motion. This results in OCTA images without any clinically relevant sacrifice in quality due to the optimized scan speed.
SHIFT technology allows you to switch between scan speeds to adapt each examination to the patient’s specific needs. You can slow down OCTA image acquisition to 85 kHz in cases that may need more light. Conversely, you can speed up structural OCT scans to 125 kHz to increase efficiency when illumination isn’t an issue.
