The Role of Retinal Imaging in the Screening and Management of Sickle Cell Disease

Sickle cell disease is well known to cause peripheral retinal damage. The webinar “The role of retinal imaging in the screening and medical management of sickle cell disease” will feature three clinicians from the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. They will present a method of providing sickle cell retinopathy screening using widefield colour, OCT, and OCTA imaging and provide an update on the medical management of sickle cell disease. The webinar will take place on Tuesday, 2nd November 2021 at 6:30pm – 7:30pm (GMT).
