With ANTERION* – the multimodal imaging platform for the anterior segment – multiple examinations can be carried out within a single session. The workflow-efficient solution brings together corneal topography and tomography, anterior segment metrics, axial length measurements and IOL calculation to transform the day-to-day routines in cataract and refractive surgery as well as cornea and glaucoma diagnostics.

ANTERION utilizes state-of-the-art swept-source OCT technology for the high-resolution visualization of the anterior segment. It provides a detailed corneal analysis, using 65 high-resolution OCT scans, and precisely performs measurements of the axial length and other anterior segment key parameters. The platform enables you to conduct all acquisitions on one deviceindependent from room and light conditions!

ANTERION and Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK)

These ANTERION images show a patient’s pseudophakic eye after DMEK surgery (posterior lamellar keratoplasty). The first image presents a detachment of the graft on the temporal periphery (orange arrow), as well as the edematous cornea (red area).

After one month, the cornea has recovered completely (second image).

The “follow-up” view in the ANTERION Cornea App allows for the evaluation of corneal maps and most important parameters over time. Here you can see posterior axial curvature maps and a progression graph of the central corneal thickness.

This patient presented with aphakia and vitreous in the anterior chamber, after a surgical intervention at another clinic (first image).

After detailed imaging with the ANTERION platform, the treatment involved a pars plana vitrectomy and the implantation of a sulcus IOL (second image).
